I was getting a hell of a headache with some doubts i had regarding theme, and if i should add non-realistic things to the game(ik zombies aren't realistic but...yeah)
First i'll talk about the realism subject. This came about when i was researching and posted on BGG if putting different kinds of zombies and super survivors like a zombie controller of a mutated guy were bad things. Some people liked others don't. I actually like them but still think they may be out of place. So i realized something, LET'S MAKE EVERYBODY HAPPY. I designed the game so that if you want different zombies and end game survivors, they were already there, but if you didn't like it?...just take them off, just as a expansion, having only normal zombies makes the game easier, but the player interaction and the zombie interaction is still the same, just with less challenges in the Player vs game aspect. And about end game survivors? well, that's ok if you didn't like the mutated giant guy, and if he weren't there? there wouldn't make a real difference. Just take them off as well, there is end game survivors without special things, like a Special forces soldier, A trap specialist, A Really smart scientist...etc...if you take the weirdos off, you will indeed have less options, but there will still be there without making mechanic differences, just as a bonus.
that's sound good right?
about the theme...i was really thinking if the zombie theme was good, cause it has already been made thousands of times. A fantasy/horror theme would be good as well, and even a fricking ATTACK ON GIANT theme, DUDE this idea was hell good, it actually fit really well and haven't been made...but ik, my guts are telling to go with zombies, as this is turning into something really good. Maybe I try giants later :D
